Barry P. Goldberg
Barry P. Goldberg is a native of Southern California and attended the University of California at Los Angeles, obtaining the degree of Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School Los Angeles in 1984 and was licensed to practice in California that same year. Mr. Goldberg was admitted to practice in all the courts in California, including all federal district courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Goldberg has successfully handled numerous trials, hundreds of arbitrations and mediations, and argued matters before the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition, Mr. Goldberg has acted as a volunteer mediator and CRASH settlement officer for the Los Angeles Superior Courts. He was recently re-appointed to the Los Angeles Superior Court Civil Settlement Conference Panel and will participating as a Voluntary Settlement Conference Officer in Chatsworth and Van Nuys Superior Courts.
Since establishing his Woodland Hills personal injury practice, Mr. Goldberg has dedicated himself to personal injury litigation and trial work with a specific emphasis on insurance coverage. He has obtained millions of dollars for his injured clients from brain injury and spinal injuries to broken bones and whiplash . After working for 17 years in a personal injury practice with his brother, Lawrence Goldberg, in Beverly Hills, Mr. Goldberg founded Barry P. Goldberg, A Professional Law Corporation in 2005. That practice has been devoted to "fighting and winning" for the injured consumer and has garnered a reputation among defense counsel, insurance companies, and in professional circles as a "high end" personal injury firm that gets great results for its clients. Barry P. Goldberg resides in Calabasas, very close to Woodland Hills, with his wife Maribel and daughters, Samantha and Julia---a matter of minutes from his offices in Warner Center, Woodland Hills. He and his family are active and well known in the community. Mr. Goldberg has played a leading role in youth soccer as a coach, volunteer, referee and Board Member in charge of legal affairs for the West Valley Soccer League and its competitive club component, Real So Cal Soccer Club. In addition, Mr. Goldberg was a founding Board Member of the Calabasas Cheetahs Track Club and can be heard on weekends as the announcer "voice of the Cheetahs." Maribel Goldberg was a well known coach of the Cheetahs and can be seen on training runs and local races in the West San Fernando Valley. Many know her as "The Calabasas Runner." Both Samantha and Julia are great athletes and have been active in soccer, track and cross-country. Samantha now attends USC as a Trustee Scholar and Julia attends Calabasas High School.
Mr. Goldberg is a "returning" trombone player and can be seen around town with the swing band "Seniors of Note" and the "Groovin' Easy Swing Band."
Mr. Goldberg is an active business networker and has been a member of Provisors since 2000 and BNI since 2005. Recently, Mr. Goldberg has become more involved in the San Fernando Valley Bar Association regarding the Attorney Referral Service Committee. He is a proud member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles.
